  • Paul "Pistol" Mpistolarides, co owner of Midwest Uplink, Inc., is an Emmy Award winning Producer for NBC for his work on the 1996 Olympics. Paul has literally produced hundreds of hours of live sporting events such as: The Summer and Winter X-Games, Great Outdoor Games, ESPN's SpeedWorld coverage, Speed Channel's Trans Am racing, Major Indoor LaCrosse League, World LaCrosse Championships on HTS, Major League Baseball on ESPN, and the Big League Challenge Homerun Hitting Contest, and NCAA Basketball selections show. He also has worked as producer on hundreds of SportsCenter features, including the historic firing of Bobby Knight. Along with his vast experience producing live sporting events, "Pistol" feels as comfortable in a "post" edit situation. Producing magazine shows like, SpeedWeek, Scholastic Sports America, and CART Friday Night.

  • Scott Alverson has 2 degrees in electronics. He has worked in television since 1988. He worked at WEVV in Evansvills, Indiana as Chief Master Control Operator before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana for work at WTHR as an Operations Technician and ENG/SNG Truck Engineer. He then moved to Los Angeles to work at Coastal Satellite as a SNG Truck Engineer before moving back to the Midwest and to Midwest Uplink. He has been with Midwest Uplink since April 2008.

  • Danny Miller has been with Midwest Uplink since September 2008. He comes to us with over 9 years of experience in satellite communications. Previously he worked at Crawford Communications out of Atlanta as a Engineer in Charge for their SatelliteUplink division and has covered major events such as The Masters, SuperBowl XLI Sports Nite for CSS and the 2006 AMA Flat Track Racing. He started his career as a TOC Operator for Convergent Media Systems and moved to Crawford Communications to work in their teleport for clients such as ESPN, Versus and many others. Danny has a great attitude and bring smany talents with him to Midwest Uplink.

  • Kaleb Giddens is the newest edition to the Midwest Uplink Staff. After working on a freelance basis for Midwest for some time, when offered the chance to make it permanent as the Chief of Production Operations, he jumped at the opportunity. Kaleb's work has recently earned him an Emmy Award for Videography in 2008, and has worked for numerous Broadcast and Cable Networks in his bright young career. While Kaleb would tell you first and foremost that his craft is creating art through a Camera Lens, his highlevel of skills also include editing, producing, directing, and even animation/graphic design. His versatility doesn't stop there. As a Videographer, Kaleb is comfortable in most any situation having experience ranging from Long/Short-Documentary, ENG Style, Single Camera Live, as well as Large Multi-Camera events. Most importantly, Kaleb wil work his hardest to get you the quality of video that you need, and look close because it'll be hard to catch him doing it without a smile on his face.

  • Tony Williams has been an independent Director and Videographer since 1993. His clients include all the major broadcast and cable networks. His videography skills have garnered him 3 Emmys and a Heartland Film Festival Crystal Heart award.
